South Africa United Against Cancer
S.A.U.A.C has been founded as an awareness and support organisation to provide support to cancer patients and families affected by cancer through various educational and insightful activities other than conventional counselling.
We have had an overwhelming uptake in our awareness and educational campaign in the first year of our existence that our “walk for cancer” captured government and the national broadcaster to endorse, support as well as publicize the fun walk.

After losing many loved ones to cancer, Tshepang Lutshaba started an organisation called South Africa United Against Cancer which aims at educating people about cancer. My organisation runs educational awareness campaigns and through fund raising initiatives we raise money to go into communities and educate them about cancer.
Being fearless helps me overcome the challenges of running this organisation.
Educate
Render cancer talks and professional screening for symptoms, early detection.
Support
Offer the professional support and counselling to manage the patients as well as their families.
Health Awareness
Help reduce stigma for both patients and the family and the general population.
Mission
To use mobile information center equipped to offer a pre and post counselling before testing, render cancer talks and professional screening for symptoms, early detection, formal referrals, transportation to the nearest health clinic/hospital, offer accommodation and facilitate patient admission/handover to hospital transport programs for Charlotte Maxeke and Steve Biko academic hospitals respectively.
